We're based in the San Francisco Bay Area — right in the heart of the hardware innovation corridor. Our team brings decades of combined experience from aerospace, defense, and high-precision manufacturing. But we operate like a startup: fast, transparent, and obsessively focused on quality.
Every part we make is machined, inspected, and shipped from our shop in Union City, CA. We don't outsource overseas. We don't cut corners. We hold tolerances down to ±0.0002" when the job demands it — and we document everything so your quality team has what they need.

Jimmy Ho is the Founder of RivCut and brings a blend of technology, operations, and startup experience to the company. Having worked across both Fortune 100 organizations and emerging startups, he has developed a strong understanding of how to navigate complexity, move efficiently, and build around customer needs.
He founded RivCut with the vision of creating a modern manufacturing company that reflects the strength of American industry: precise, responsive, and built for partnership. Jimmy believes customers deserve more than a vendor — they need a manufacturing partner that acts as an extension of their engineering team and is committed to quality, communication, and long-term trust.
Steven Nguyen
Steven Nguyen brings extensive manufacturing leadership experience to RivCut, with a career centered on production management, process improvement, and operational excellence. His previous roles include Program Manager at KNT Manufacturing, along with leadership positions at Expedite Precision Works, JL Precision, Master Kraft Mfg, and S and R Precision.
At RivCut, Steven plays a key role in building the operational foundation behind the company's quality, consistency, and reliability.
