Upload CAD for Instant Quote82 degrees is the standard angle for inch flat head screws (ANSI). 90 degrees is the standard for metric flat head screws (ISO). Using the wrong angle leaves gaps around the screw head.
Countersink until the screw head sits flush with the surface. The countersink diameter in the chart matches the head diameter. Go slightly deeper if you want the head below the surface.
The body drill matches the screw body diameter. It lets the screw pass through the top piece freely. The pilot hole is smaller and goes into the bottom piece. It guides the screw threads.
Yes. Use a single-flute or multi-flute countersink cutter. Program the Z depth to match the head diameter. Use a slow feed rate for a clean finish. Chamfer mills also work well for CNC countersinking.
